Got off work yesterday and felt like exploring the campus; rode on Powhatan Avenue. I did not know how long the road went for until yesterday.

Went biking around with my friend and we stumbled upon this speed reader. We thought it would be fun to see how fast we can go. My friend went 24mph and I went 21 mph.

Since I could start cooking by myself, my mom has taught me valuable cooking and baking skills. Tonight she taught me how to make steam pork buns.

These pictures were taken during Relay For Life at ODU. This is my FASA family (Big and Little). The girl in the middle is Emmy and she is my Big. The guy in the white shirt is Waldon, who is my cousin and FASA sibling.
Emmy is the best Big I could have asked for. I admire her persistence and ability to always have a smile on her face. I admit, there were rough patches that we encountered. The start of things were rough but eventually things started to smooth out and still are.There is still time for us as a family to bond and get closer! I am looking forward to saving up to get matching customized Nike Roshe!
Time has definitely flew by, I remember the first time I met Emmy. We met at the FASA’s induction; her and someone else was setting up the room and Jayven and I walked in early, so she got me helping set up the room. Then she told me to request her as a Big - I did so cause I did not know anyone else in FASA at that point. Three years later, she is graduating and as a family we have gotten closer. I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors!

At times I felt like my brain was empty, but in reality it was crowded. I had to lose myself to find and improve myself.
Life has knocked me down a few times and it has shown me things that I never wanted to see, but one thing is for sure, I always got back up! (edit: 11 May 2013)
